Who We Serve
Beacon of Light School exists for children under 14 in Plateau State who have been robbed of formal education by security crises, displacement, or poverty.
The December 24, 2023 attacks on Plateau State alone displaced hundreds of families and left countless children without schools to return to. We opened our doors.
We believe that every literate child becomes a more peaceful, more productive, more God-aware member of their community — and that education is one of the most powerful forms of prevention.
